Deletion Steps

Log into Slack via the desktop app or web.

Go to your Account settings (my.slack.com/account).

Scroll down to "Deactivate account" and click "Deactivate your account".

Enter your password and confirm.

To delete your profile information, contact the Workspace Primary Owner after deactivation.

Important Information

Cooldown Period

Immediate (for deactivation)

Account Recovery

You can recover your account during the cooldown period by logging in.

Additional Notes

Deactivating your account removes you from a workspace. Messages and files you sent remain unless deleted by an admin. Account reactivation is possible by a Workspace Owner/Admin. Full profile deletion requires Workspace Primary Owner action.
